Wazdan has expanded its Hold the Jackpot™ portfolio with the release of Throne of Elements™: Platinum. The announcement, published on 2 September 2026, presents the title as a game with several entry points to the bonus round and a Grand Jackpot of up to 2,500x.
According to the official description, the game unfolds on a 25-reel grid. Twelve reels unlock progressively as players activate new areas of an elemental-themed world. A central reel occupies the middle of the field and is the exclusive home of Hold the Jackpot™ and Extra Life symbols; these symbols cannot appear anywhere else. Guardian symbols that land across the middle row can trigger additional reels and open previously inaccessible sections of the grid.
The Hold the Jackpot™ bonus activates either through a symbol on the central reel or by completing Guardian activation on the middle row. When the feature begins, the layout moves to the full 25-reel grid. All symbols in the bonus round stick to their positions, and the player receives three respins. Every new symbol resets the counter back to three. The Grand Jackpot can also be awarded through a Grand Mystery symbol, giving players another way to reach the top prize.
Wazdan also integrates two of its established options into the release. Chance Level™ can increase the chance of triggering the bonus, while Customisable Volatility Levels™ allows the experience to match different player preferences and requirements. The official announcement does not include an RTP figure for this title.
Commenting on the launch, Wazdan CEO Michal Imiolek emphasised the company’s focus on refining mechanics for each release. He said Throne of Elements™: Platinum shows this through the Guardian symbols that gradually unlock the grid and drive the player toward the full 25-reel Hold the Jackpot™ layout. Imiolek added that the design goal was to make every element contribute to a coherent experience, and that quality over quantity remains a core principle of the studio’s development strategy.
