Wazdan, the gain-focused developer, has announced its entry into Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market, further strengthening its North American footprint. The supplier is launching with an initial portfolio of 133 certified games, combining popular player favourites with operational expertise gained from its existing presence in Ontario and the United States.
The move comes as Alberta establishes its own regulated gaming framework, which Wazdan views as a distinct market with unique operator dynamics and player expectations. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, the company has developed a tailored strategy emphasising reliable game delivery, carefully curated content, and close collaboration with operator partners from the earliest stages of market development.
Izabela Slodkowska-Popiel, Wazdan’s Head of Account Management for North America and Latin America, commented: “Entering Alberta is a landmark milestone for Wazdan and another opportunity to strengthen our presence across North America. Every regulated market has its own characteristics, and success comes from understanding those differences rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. Alberta presents its own opportunities, and we are looking forward to working closely with operator partners, bringing a carefully selected portfolio of games and the expertise needed to support them as the market continues to grow.”
The Alberta launch reinforces Wazdan’s commitment to regulated-market growth across North America. The company continues to expand partnerships and deliver market-specific solutions designed to support long-term operator success in the region.
