Big Time Gaming has announced MONOPOLY Money, a new Megaways release built around Mr. Monopoly and positioned as a follow-up to MONOPOLY Rush Hour from earlier this year. The studio's official news post describes a very high volatility slot on six Megaways reels with up to 117,649 ways to win and wins of up to 29,700x stake.
That maximum is the best-case outcome in the game's maths, not a typical result. The advertised RTP is up to 96.58%; the "up to" wording matters because RTP can differ between markets and operator configurations, so players should check the figure disclosed in their own game client.
Most of the action runs through Hold and Spin. Title Deed, Community Chest and Chance Cards all act as bonus symbols, and six or more Cards anywhere on the reels start the feature. Each symbol position then becomes a reel of its own. Mr. Monopoly collects Title Deeds worth the same as or less than his current value and adds them to his total. He starts with three Money Bags: a spin with no new Card costs him one, and every Card he collects puts one back, up to three.
Community Chest Cards pay a Bonus Prize of up to 2,500x stake when the round ends. Chance Cards are held until the end, then resolve as a Credit Prize or a Restart. A Credit Prize is added to Mr. Monopoly's value and may let him collect more Title Deeds; a Restart clears the screen and starts the round again with his value intact. Title Deeds in all eight colours trigger the MONOPOLY Bonus, worth up to 2,500x stake.
Three or more Scatters trigger 12 Free Spins, plus two more for each extra Scatter. Mr. Monopoly enters with a random value of up to 15x stake and stays for the whole round, and each Title Deed he collects lifts the Megaways Win Multiplier by one with no cap. Five or more Cards at once set off Hold and Spin mid-round, and three or more Scatters add four extra spins. His final value is paid once, after the last Free Spin.
Power Play costs 8x stake, guarantees at least 10,000 Megaways on every spin and makes Max Megaways, Hold and Spin and Free Spins more frequent. Bonus Buy offers Hold and Spin for 60x stake or 12 Free Spins for 90x stake. Availability of both depends on local rules.
Founder and CEO Nik Robinson said the studio built the game around Mr. Monopoly because he is who most people picture when they think of the brand, and described a character who starts small and grows stronger with every Title Deed. He compared the Chance Restart to passing Go and pointed to the uncapped Free Spins multiplier. Market-by-market RTP configurations, the full paytable and the launch schedule remain unconfirmed.
