Betsoft has added a new title to its BIRDS series. BIRDS IN THE CITY is described by the provider as a cascading sequel that moves the flock from the nest into a downtown skyline, and the company says the game is now available across its network of partners.
The format is a six-reel, five-row grid built around cascading wins. When a winning combination lands, it pays and those symbols are removed; remaining symbols drop down and new ones fall in from above, and the sequence repeats until no further wins appear. That structure applies to base game spins and carries into the bonus round.
Mystery symbols can appear during base game spins and during cascades. According to Betsoft, they reveal the same matching symbol in every mystery position, which may form a win or contribute to one. Multipliers of up to 500x can also land during spins and cascades in both the base game and free spins. Every multiplier visible on screen stacks and is applied to the win after the cascades settle.
Scatters have two jobs: they pay on their own, and four or more of any kind unlock 15 free spins. Super scatters follow the same logic, but when they appear in the trigger the opening payout is larger and scales with how many super scatters are present. Inside the free spins round, multipliers from winning spins feed an electrical box and are carried into a total multiplier that stacks across the round and applies to every winning cascade. Landing three or more scatters during free spins awards five additional free spins.
Two optional features are listed. Bet Booster can be switched on to double the chance of triggering free spins in the base game. Buy Bonus offers 15 free spins, or 15 super free spins where all multipliers start at 10x or higher. Betsoft states a maximum win factor of 45,000x max bet.
Svitlana Rudenko, Senior Account Manager at Betsoft Gaming, framed the release as giving the series a distinctive urban setting. In her comments, she highlighted cascading reels, multipliers that build toward a total multiplier during free spins, and the mystery symbol, Bet Booster and Buy Bonus options.
